A high-powered delegation led by the Paramount Chief of the Buipe Traditional Area and Vice President of the Gonja Traditional Council, Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II, paid a courtesy call on the Head of Mission of the Ghana High Commission, H.E. Baba Jamal Mohammed Ahmed, on Monday, 1st December 2025, at the Chancery.

The visit followed the delegation’s recent trip to several cities in Nigeria. Discussions centered on strengthening cooperation between Ghana and Nigeria, with particular emphasis on establishing sister-city relationships to foster cultural, social, and economic ties.

H.E. Baba Jamal Mohammed Ahmed expressed appreciation for the visit and assured the delegation that the High Commission’s doors remain open to them at all times, reaffirming the mission’s commitment to supporting initiatives that deepen regional collaboration.
