On October 3, 2025, the Ghana High Commission in Abuja welcomed the management team of Africa World Airlines (AWA), Abuja Station, for a courtesy visit to the Head of Mission, H.E. Baba Jamal Mohammed Ahmed.

The visit provided an opportunity for the AWA team to extend a warm welcome to the High Commissioner-designate and to reaffirm the airline’s commitment to collaborating with the Mission in advancing Ghana’s image and interests in Nigeria.

Both parties expressed optimism about deepening their partnership to promote tourism, trade, and people-to-people exchanges between Ghana and Nigeria.
