The Head of the Country Cluster Delegation for Nigeria, Togo, Benin and Ghana of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Mr. Ghulam Mohammed Awam, on Wednesday, 3rd December 2025, paid a courtesy call on the Head of Mission, H.E. Baba Jamal Mohammed Ahmed.
During the meeting, Mr. Awam briefed the Head of Mission on the ongoing activities of the IFRC in the region, emphasizing the organisation’s long-term commitments in Ghana and its continued support for humanitarian and development initiatives across the country.
Both parties discussed issues of mutual interest, including the organisation’s key priorities in Ghana, and explored possibilities for future cooperation to strengthen collaborative efforts and enhance the impact of humanitarian interventions.
