In October 2025, the Head of Mission, H.E. Baba Jamal Mohammed Ahmed, undertook a two-day familiarisation visit to the Ghana Consulate in Lagos.

The visit formed part of efforts to strengthen coordination between the High Commission and the Consulate, enhance service delivery, and deepen engagement with the Ghanaian community in Lagos.

During the visit, H.E. Ahmed met with the Consulate staff and leaders of the Ghanaian community, commending their dedication and urging continued collaboration to advance Ghana’s diplomatic and socio-economic interests in Nigeria.
