
The Ghana High Commission in Abuja has officially welcomed His Excellency Baba Jamal Mohammed Ahmed, Ghana’s newly appointed High Commissioner – designate to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
H.E. Ahmed arrived in Abuja to assume duty with a strong commitment to strengthening the deep-rooted bonds of friendship, cooperation, and shared aspirations that have long defined the relations between Ghana and Nigeria. He will provide leadership in advancing bilateral engagements in areas such as trade, investment, culture, and people-to-people exchanges, while also contributing to the collective efforts of ECOWAS in promoting regional peace, stability, and integration.
His assumption of duty marks an important step in consolidating the close partnership between the two countries and exploring new avenues for mutual growth and development.
