On Thursday, August 28, 2025, a delegation from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama ‘at, Nigeria, paid a courtesy visit to the High Commission. The leadership of the Muslim Mission, led by S.K. Alada, Vice President, highlighted the recent World Ahmadiyya Muslim Conference, which brought together members from around the globe to discuss the community’s vision and initiatives. The conference emphasized unity, peace, and the promotion of human rights, highlighting the Ahmadiyya community’s commitment to fostering peaceful coexistence among diverse religious communities. The delegation also shared insights from the remarks made by Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the worldwide leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, at the conference regarding the state of world peace. His message emphasized the urgent need for global cooperation and understanding to address the challenges threatening peace.

The representatives expressed gratitude for the supportive stance taken by the president of Ghana towards the Ahmadiyya community. They noted that such support is crucial in ensuring the safety and recognition of the community within the broader Muslim population in West Africa.

Dr. Tenewa Asamoah, the Acting Head of Mission, thanked the delegation for the visit. She extolled Ghana’s constitution, which guarantees freedom of religion, faith, and association, and allows for peaceful coexistence. She also encouraged the leadership to support the activities of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Ghana in their humanitarian endeavours, particularly in rural Ghanaian communities
